Glenda Schultz joined the American Legion Auxiliary Unit 521 (Rio Linda), District 6 in 2007. Her eligibility is thru her brother Harold Schultz, a Vietnam Army Veteran. Six uncles served in the US Navy during World War II and one in the US Navy during Vietnam. Glenda is very proud of her family’s service to our country.
After graduating from High School, Glenda started working for A T & T, advancing her way to Control Center Manager in Auburn, retiring after 25 years. Glenda then became a Corporate Escrow Officer for 5 years. Glenda ended her working career as a Site Acquisition Specialist for Pacific Group Engineering.
Glenda has 1 son, 1 grandson and 1 great grandson, all members of the SAL.
In 2020 Glenda moved to Roseville and transferred to Unit 169, District 7. She has strongly supported and participated in Unit 169 and District 7 activities. We have been blessed to have Glenda join us.
On the Unit level Glenda has held all major chairmanships. She served five consecutive terms as Unit 521 President. She served four years as District 6 President.
For the Department Glenda served as Mid-Year DEC Chair, Deputy for VA Northern California Health Care System – Mather. For five years Glenda served as Northern California Department Workshop Chair. Other chairmanships include, Convention Rules, Americanism, Community Service, Children & Youth, VA&R, Constitition and By Laws and Department Vice President, 2022-2023.
